I am excited to announce the launch of the Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U) 2009 student application. CGI U is an initiative of the William J. Clinton Foundation that inspires the next generation of leaders to take effective action on pressing global challenges.Universities are witnessing a growing number of students with the potential and passion to make a difference in the world. CGI U places emphasis on action by helping young leaders to take concrete steps toward addressing issues in the areas of education, energy & climate change, human rights & peace, global health, and poverty alleviation.
